Asahi Kasei is a Japanese technology group that offers diverse materials and solutions to enhance modern life.
Leveraging its expertise in chlor-alkali electrolysis, the company developed the "Aqualyzer™,"a large-scale alkaline water electrolyzer for hydrogen production.
Since 2020, a 10 MW electrolyzer has been operational in a Japanese government project, and in 2024 a new commercial-scale facility with four modules has been launched to improve material development and optimize operations.
