Information

The decarbonization of the maritime sector has been getting an increasing focus in legislation and national ambitions. Hydrogen and ammonia have an important role in greening maritime, both as a fuel for the sector, but also because maritime will play a role in hydrogen and ammonia transport. This desired shift to ammonia and hydrogen is still in the future. Together with Norwegian and European stakeholders, this event aims to address and discuss whether we are ready or not, what the possibilities are today, how we solve regulatory barriers, and what support is needed, for maritime to transition to hydrogen and ammonia solutions.
