In the field of renewable energies, SONATRACH cites its strategy as being based on the implementation of photovoltaic power plants at SONATRACH industrial sites, generating a gas saving that will be valued in other sectors, or for export, as well as on reducing the environmental footprint by the use of cleaner energies.
At a time of energy transition and evolution in the energy business across the globe, SONATRACH is also tapping at “the great potential” for hydrogen production in Algeria.
