Its multidisciplinary skills and its unique R&D capacity are supported by more than 1,100 experts, doctors, engineers and technicians, who transform everyday manufacturing players all over the world, for the benefit of an ever more digital, efficient, positive and sustainable industry, capable of responding to the great economic and ecological challenges of our time.

In 2022, illustrating its commitment to the challenges associated with the ecological transition, and in direct line with the France 2030 plan, Cetim launched its HyMEET (Hydrogen Materials and Equipment Engineering and Testing) strategic project aims to support the mechanical engineering professions, their customers and the entire industry in meeting the technological and economic challenges to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the hydrogen market. It covers the entire value chain (production, storage, transport, distribution right through to end uses) and combines an ambitious R&D program with a €25 million investment in test facilities, characterization and validation platforms, as well as consulting and training programs. It already mobilizes more than 200 experts, counts two partnerships with CEA Liten and Bureau Veritas, and draws on Cetim's 60 years of experience and multidisciplinary expertise, notably in sealing, material embrittlement and permeability, component fatigue, cleanliness, as well as manufacturing, forming and assembly processes.
