Based in Trento and established by law by the Autonomous Province of Trento, Fondazione Bruno Kessler is a private entity whose mission is to promote and contribute to the advancement of knowledge with a focus on the fields of science and technology that will allow for greater and more tangible economic and social impacts.

Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is a multidisciplinary research institution specializing in technology, innovation, the humanities and social sciences through its 12 research centers. Among these, the Center for Sustainable Energy that implements activities of research and innovation, consultancy, technology transfer oriented towards design and development of materials, technologies, tools and methodologies for production, storage and distribution of energy with focus on electrochemical accumulations, hydrogen and implementation in territorial projects.
